Pakistan at the United Nations!
Raising the issue of Indian Army's attack on the Military Observer Group reviewing the situation along the Line of Control (LoC) at the United Nations, Pakistan has warned the international community against timely Indian aggression aimed at destabilizing the region. In a letter to the UN Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council, the Permanent Representative of Pakistan elaborated on the tragic incident and said that the vehicles of UN military observers were deliberately attacked by the Indian Army because Vehicles are known from afar for their flags and emblems. He called on the United Nations to condemn the attack and to conduct a transparent investigation. The letter, citing highly credible sources, warned that a fake flag operation in India to divert attention from the internal troubles of the BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Singh's extremist Modi government and justify another adventure against Pakistan. If that happens then Pakistan has every right to defend itself and it will respond in full. The Pakistani envoy said that India had committed more than 3,000 violations of the ceasefire agreement with regard to the LoC this year, leaving 27 people dead and 250 injured. Prime Minister Imran Khan has also strongly warned India in a statement on a social networking site that if it dares to launch a false flag operation against Pakistan, it will be met with a stern response. He warned the international community that India could launch a fake operation against Pakistan to divert attention from the economic downturn, growing farmers' protests and failure to deal with Covid 19. The Prime Minister's statement and the letter from Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations have exposed the fact that since the extremist Hindutva government came to power in India, it has been consuming occupied Kashmir and depriving Indian Muslims of their civil rights. Besides, the situation against Pakistan has created a war-like situation. As a result of India's unprovoked and continuous firing and shelling on the LoC, more than 300 civilians have been martyred so far, including 92 women and 88 children. Prime Minister Imran Khan rightly said that India's move was tantamount to violating the values of any responsible state and international law. India has set up a fake news network to harm Pakistan's interests which has recently come to light. The European Union's human rights body has condemned the move and called for legal action against India. The Indian Army is engaged in provocative operations on the Jammu and Kashmir Line of Control and the Working Boundary. On Saturday, the Indian Army opened fire and shelled the rural population in Rakh Chakri sector and on Sunday in Tatta Pani and Nikail sectors. This paralyzed the life system in these areas. In retaliation, the Pakistani military targeted only Indian military posts. In Islamabad, the Indian charge d'affaires was summoned to the Foreign Office and a strong protest was recorded against these actions. India's aggression poses a serious threat to regional peace and security, which the United Nations, especially the major powers, will have to take effective emergency measures to avoid.
